Default 03 Suburban Dead Whats Up?

My family and I started on a trip to Austin,Tx and about two hours in the suburban failed us. We were travelling about eighty and the warning chime started to go off and the check engine and abs lights came on. we pulled over immediately. I told my wife to turn it off and try to restart it to see if it would clear the warnings. went to turn the key and there is nothing. the battery is fully charged. The funny thing is the theft deterent system light is on. the door locks do not work unless the key is turned on. all other lights and guages seem to work fine. I unhooked the battery to try to reset the computer. no luck. So, I had it towed to the dealership in checotah,Ok. Of coarse they are closed on the fourth so there it sits. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I know what you mean. I haven't found a trustworthy dealership yet.

So the suburban is driving fine, you hear the chimes and a check engine light comes on but the truck is still "running perfectly fine". You decide to pull over and shut her down, then try to restart but get nothing at all?

I wonder if the theft deterrent system is f'd up. The power lock thing is got me confused.

Please post the dealer diagnosis as this has me very curious

Turns out it was a broken ground to the ECM. Cost $240 from the dealer to diagnose and repair. not bad. could have been raped in a lot of directions. Looks like the dealer in Checotah, Ok is straight up. Thanks for all the input.
