First I would like to tell all that Im brand new to the forum. I have read the rules and after my search turned up nothing so here it goes.

Just acquired a 03 Suburban 2 wheel drive LS, 215,000 miles. The clear rectangle fog lamps jump and down badly. I have looked at plastic mounts and are all intact. It just isn't attached well. Any help would be appreciated.

Are the lamps factory or aftermarket from what you can tell? post a few pictures?

 

Yes, as far as i can tell from pics (of the factory lamp housings), these are factory with factory adjusters with the wing nut and springs. I have tried to apply double sided foam tape between top of lamp housing and valance with no luck.

You said "rectangle" Fogs !
Are you sure you're talking about the Fog Lamps ?
Picture shows "round" Fog Lamps.

 

They are rectangle with a tear drop.

 

The round fog lights are on the Z71 package.The rectangularfogs are on the other trim packages. The cost for the stock lights are more than a good set of Hella fog lights,which really do the job. The stock lights are not much more than cosmetic.
