03 Tahoe won't start
I have a 2003 Tahoe with the 5.7 Vortex flex fuel in it I wanna say around 155K on it. I haven't drove it for a couple weeks now and it got really cold out (4 degrees and is 0 now). I went to start it to clean the snow off it and it wouldn't start. It would turn over and start for a second then slowly die. It would only start that way every now and then otherwise it would just turn over. The battery died while doing this. So I tried to jump it and it did the same thing with jumper cables on it. I went and bought a new battery since the old battery was old to began with. It still does the same thing.
Then I can hear a noise coming out of the speaker on the passenger side door. It will make this noise even after the truck is completely off. I got in and locked the doors and the dome light went off. It still made the noise. It is kind of like a light thumping sound or a pulsing sound. The radio would not play but wasn't sure if that wasn't because of the cold. I took the fuses out for the radio and the amp and the noise stopped then.
I do have a red light that flashes on the radio. It is located on the top left hand corner of the radio. Now it doesn't flash since I took the radio fuses out.
I do not have the keys with the chip in it and one light stays on when you turn the key to on but don't turn it over. Its the battery light on the top right hand side. The check engine light doe not stay on when the key is in the on position.
The fuel pump does turn on light it is supposed to. The starter every now and then would stick for a second when starting it but only does that every now and then.
I do have a after market remote starter in it. It was in the truck when I bought it. The factory door lock remote sometimes acts up put you tap it and it works fine then.
This is the first time I have ever had trouble with it not starting like this. I was trying to get it ready to be taken in to get a seal in the rear end fixed and a new water pump put in before it went out.
I hope someone can help I am lost on this one.

Well if you have checked to make sure you have spark, I would suggest using some HEET and see if the car will start.
You may just have a bit of moisture in the fuel and that may be the reason why the car started up and then died.
