I'm getting alot of squealing from a bearing. Like no lube kind of squealing. They tell me it's all internal so it cannot be greased. Truck has just over 100k on it. Is this a normal issue? Should I replace both front bearings?

And can anyone tell me the standard issues that these trucks have?

 

why replace both if only one is bad. They are expensive. If and when the other bearing goes replace it then.

 

Ya like 170 ea at the parts store but like 80 online. Will probably just do the one

 

if you put a cheap $80 bearing in, be prepared to replace it again next year.

timken or moog are good brands and if one is gone the other might probably be on it's way out, i did both on mine but saved on the labor. they're not hard to do if you are mechanically inclined, don't buy cheap, like tech said...last only about a year
