07 Navigation/Entertainment System "GM Lockpick Group Buy"
I just checked the website, here is the "Super GM Lockpick" combining the new "Gen 3" lockpick & the Onstar lockpick...
http://www.coastaletech.com/SUPERGMLOCKPICK.htm
they have it listed for $299 on the website...

Sounds like we might need to start another list, or convert the GM Lockpick list to the new Super (Duper) GM Lockpick list...
I would like to change my order to a Super (Duper) GM Lockpick...
Thanks!

Super for me too but you might want to call these guys up and ask $ for 10 and then tell them how much for 20, you might get them to go down some more, 20 pieces is quite a lot I think for this type of item
Oops! I just went on their website to check out the "Super" lockpick and saw that they had quantity pricing now, I dont think I saw that before.

Before I change my vote for the super lockpick, could someone please explain to me what the onstar/bluetooth thing actually does? I have a regular cellphone, plus I have the onstar number. Does this unit allow me to use my regular us cellular cellphone through the GM onstar system? What happens to the original onstar account and number. Just a bit confused about it all....
Thanks
Bill
Thanks

Count me in for the GM Lockpick(Gen2Locpick). I would consider the dual lockpick (Gen 3)if everyone else wanted it. I too would need some additioanl explanantion as to all the features it would provide.
Nikos72,
I clicked on the quantity pricing, and it looks like the quantity pricingis just for the GMLockpick, not the Super (Duper) dual lockpick.
It is nice to see that they are offering to upgrade previous Gen2 owners to Gen3 for just $10...
Others with questions about the bluetooth part of the SuperDuper:
Here is my understanding, I don't have one yet,I just gathered this from reading at the website:
It sounds like you need to buy an aftermarket bluetooth kit, and this will helpintergrate it into the Tahoe'saudio system
(I hesitate to say Onstar system, as I don't think they have anything really to do with the other, and it's kinda confusing...this unit works with/without Onstar installed / subscribed to, and doesn't affect Onstar's operation)
It sounds to me that it only really has an Mute input, so that it can mute the stereo, and activate the aftermarket bluetooth unit.
After installed with an aftermarket bluetoothsystem, with an inbound call on your bluetooth phone, it will mute the stereo, and activate the aftermarket bluetooth unit...
Can anyone tell me if Caller ID info is displayed anywhere except the phone?
When placing an outbound call, you press and holdthe mute button on the steering wheel (like you do presently to access Onstar), and it activates your aftermarket Bluetooth unit...if you want Onstar, you say "Onstar"...if you want to call home (and you have your bluetooth unit, phone, etc. set up to do this- the same as you could if you had a bluetooth headset), you say "call home" or some such... the phone dials home...
you listen to the calls via the stereo speakers (the music is automatically muted).
I think you have to speak into a separate microphone that is installed with the aftermarket bluetooth system (clipped to sun visor, etc.), and that the Bluetooth portion does NOT enable the use of the factory microphone installed in the headliner above the driver...Can someone verify this for me?
