OK, I just got off the phone with Kelley from Coastal. She should have the group buy up sometime today or tomorrow the 21st.

We are not going to have the dealer price option as it is very complicated. We will have an individual group buy as this will be the best for all of us.

The GM Lockpick GEN3 will be $219.00 plus shipping.

The GM Super Lockpick will be $239.00 plus shipping,

Your best bet is probably to go with the Super Lockpick as it's not that much more.

What you will need to do is log onto there web-site Prius Accessories.

You will then have to register with the user name that you use here on the Chevrolet Forum and use "chevroletforum" in the "DEALER COUPON CODE"

Log into Coastal's site with your new user name and password and continue with your checkout to get the group buy discount.

Pick the GM Super Lockpick or the GEN3 and follow check out.

As of right now the OnStar only Lockpick is not in production.

That works for me and the timing is close to perfect. I'm picking up my new truck tomorrow!

Thanks for all the effort getting this set up!

As far as I can tell from their web site, the Super is a GEN3 that includes the fucntionality of their OnStar Lockpick. And that's to allow you to connect a (third-party) Bluetooth handsfree device to the truck and have it automatically mute the radio audio and play you phone call audio through the truck's speakers. I think it may also "unlock" a couple of OnStar functions if you subscribe to the OnStar phone service as well.

You'd have to consider how you will use your OnStar and cell phone to see if the combination makes sense. If you have Verizon for your standalone cell service, you should be able to combine that with your truck's wireless (OnStar uses Verizon as the underlying cellular provider). I happen to need to use Cingular, so the OnStar Lockpick's ability to let me connect my cell phone with the truck via Bluetooth has some appeal. Not 100% sure how I'm going to go yet, but for only an extra $20 (GEN3 vs. Super)I'd like to at least have that option on the Lockpick.

I know Kelley has seen this thread, I'll see if she can jump in and answer some questions.

I have already asked this question to Kelley, the microphone from the bluetooth kit (i.e. Motorola IHF1000 or Parrot) is used, the only thing that their system does for the handsfree is mute the stereo and put the audio through the car speakers. The "unlocking" of the other items is what is really special about it. (and its plug and play) I am going to order mine today... I will report back when it comes.

yep its dangerous i just wish it would of cost $239 to find this out instead of $1,800 when i first got it on my rrs i thought this was the coolest thing until my wife put in a movie for are kid and decided to watch it on the front screen no matter how stupid the movie is or how good the movie is i found myself paying way to much attention to that screen while i was driving.
