Default 07 Tahoe LTZ Lowering

Had the Ground Force kit on the 05 Denali.......Tbars not an issue on the 07 Tahoe thank goodness.........

Looks like there are 4 kits available: here are 3

http://www.autoanything.com/suspensi...0A50471A1.aspx

Eibach ProTruck kit with new coil springs

Sprint Truck Lowering Kit (never heard of these guys)

Ground Force (on the 05 denali kit they addressed lowering the swaybar mounts and the sensors in the wheel wells with spacers)

Anyone used any of these kits?

I prefer the ones that replace the coils versus the McGauheys(?) as I don't want to tackle removal of the spindles
Anyone know what any of these kits do to address the stabilitrack and autoride issues?

Thanks

Well I had a dealer send me the install instructions for the Eibach kit for use in Tahoes with autoride.

It has the 4 springs and longer front AND rear sensor links (ground force only addressed the rear links with a spacer on my 05 Denali). Plus new front bumpstops. GF says cut the front and rear stops. Eibach says trim only the rear.

Ground Force addresses the rear sway bar with a spacer, but Eibach does not address the swaybar. I plan on contacting Eibach tomorrow and find out why and will contact GF to find out why they do not address the sensor length for the front.

I am leaning towards the EibachPro Truck kit due to their extensive history in suspension springs for every kind of vehicle you can think of plus their extensive racing history.
Their kit is priced more realistically at about $150 LESS.
More to follow when I get the additional info.

I plan on putting the McGaughys on mine when I do the drop. From experience, I've always had the best luck with the spindle drops in the past. Putting one on such a new vehicle won't be hard at all. They are only hard after the ball joints get rusted to the spindle. With the spindle, there is no need to adjust the height sensor in the front, but the back one is adjusted. I talked with the lady at McGaughys and she informed me that it's as simple as slightly bending the factory sensor.

I am a bit concerned about the alignment afterwords. One thing I read made it seem like the first alignment will be difficult because it may involve removing some break away tabs or something like on the older trucks. I'm not sure if this is true or not.

Spoke with Eibach and Ground Force today.
Kind of the same answers from both when addressing the shortcoming issues.
Eibach on the swaybar spacer.....not needed
GF on the front sensor rods......not needed

Also liked that Eibach had new retuned front and rear swaybars that are matched to the lowering springs.
This setup will make the truck really handle like it is on rails.

Still thinking which manufacturer I am gonna go with
