Default 07 wipers/spray on its own

Did anyone have their wipers and spray come on for no reason? If so, what's the repair/reprogram needed to stop it?

The fix for it is to read your owners manual.
If you push the heated wiper fluid button below the hvac controls it will start spraying and wiping after about 20 seconds.

Thanks for the input. You have been very helpful for a lot of people So I'll be kind in return.

I am not having the problem. I was asking for a friend. I can only assume he made the mistake to which you are referring. The fact that the switch is located where it can easily be turned on by accident when an object in storage bumps it could also be a possibilty. Once the switch is on it takes up to 40 seconds to cycle the first time. This can throw off the search for the cause. Additionally the fact that the switch light is difficult to see in most lighting conditions is also not helping. I'll pass along your recommendation.

Thanks

See there, I should have pulled out the manual and then I would have read that it is actually up to 40 seconds, good job.
Now time it for yourself and see how long it really takes this time of year.
Mission accomplished.

Thanks for being kind.

Don't have one - Skipped that section during my review of the manual.

I researched the problem for him and discovered the TSB - advising of the most likely cause and the hard to spot indicator light.

Getting into the mid to low 40's overnight here. Bet it's still not the full 40 seconds yet.
