Good afternoon, I have a 2008 Suburban with a 5.3 L flex motor. Sitting at a red light it started to shake hard, sputtered and then stalled. Had it towed home and tried to start it again and it makes a loud "clanking" noise and stalls. Checked my fuel pump fuses and they are all good. I'm assuming it's not getting fuel but not 100%....

Any ideas to try before taking it to a shop?

Can you measure fuel pump pressure?

Did you try tapping on the fuel tank with a hammer to test?
