Hey new to the group and REALLY appreciate any help I can get. So I have just purchased an 08 Tahoe. It has everything that I wanted except for the touch screen radio with navigation. My question is can I purchase a stock Chevy touch screen head unit that has the navigation and it be a plug and play thing or is there way more to it than I am realizing? Will I need additional plugs under the dash etc? Also will the dvd player screen that is in the roof of the back seat work if I was to switch these head units out? I have basic mechanical skills I guess you could say that I am a glorified parts changer at best lol. Any info you could throw my way I would greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance.
