Default 1999 1500 suburban headlights going out

I have a 1999 suburban the head lights keep going out and coming back on 30-90 seconds later you can hear the breaker in the head light switch trip when it does. It’s not specific to low or high beams I’v replaced the stitch twice now doesn’t seem to make a difference I’v also replaced the day time driving relay located in the convenience center. The lights have stayed on now but I can still feel heat in the front side of the switch after a few mins. Is this normal or an indication that I still have an issue this has me and my garage guys stumped. I’v read all the forms on the issue hence the replacing of the relay and switch together today. If problem persists does any one have any other ideas?

Thanks
