1999 Tahoe grinding sound (video)
Hello! My 1998 Tahoe (190k miles) makes a strange grinding sound; sounds like it's coming from the back half. It sounds like metal grinding or something. I recently changed all the brakes all around (back brakes are drums).
Here are a couple of videos of the sound. It kind of goes away when I go fast.

Sounds to me like the rear axle. Does it get worse when making a turn or all the time?
Welcome to the forum. Since it sounds like a squeaking noise and it happened after you redid the rear brakes which are drum brakes you said, I suspect something is loose or not hooked up properly. I know there's a lot of springs associated with drum brakes.
