Default 1999 Tahoe, Locked out

You
I have a 1999 Tahoe I recently bought. I was driving it home tonight (fourth time I have driven it) and noticed the security light was on. I got home and went back to check and see if a spare key would still show the light on. I tried to get back into my Tahoe and I am locked out. Both keys have the same result. Turning the key on the driver side door the key just spins with no resistance in both directions. It cannot spin in either on the passenger side. For the rear door is spins freely in the lock direction but cannot spin in the unlock direction. I'm completely locked out.

Thanks for any help.

Call AAA. Or have a friend with AAA show up and call AAA. Or call a locksmith.

They would show up and open the door. That doesn't solve the problem as to why it occurred.

Sounds like it was a recovered theft since security light is on. That can happen from a poor ignition lock repair. And all the door locks where not replaced correctly since some of the link rods seem not to be connected to the lock assembly's .
Lock cylinder on pass. side it probably frozen up from years of no lube. Rear maybe able to get freed up with some lube in it to get it to turn to unlock direction.
No remote fob with that truck?

Unfortunately it did not come with a remote fob. I tried to use some compressed air to blow out the passenger side and rear door, then used some wd40 (that was all I have) and there wasn't a change at all. My friend seemed to know what was wrong with the driver side door and will repair it. (Some plastic part in the door that was probably brittle from age and closing the door snapped it or something).

After that bring it to a regular locksmith to have the locks synched?
