Default auto lock feature for 1999 Tahoe

I just bought a 1999 Tahoe and am growing REAL sick of the auto lock feature that locks the doors when I turn the key to the on position. Is there a way to disable it? I searched this forum and others and can not find a way. Does anyone know how to do this?

You have to take it to the dealer. It has something to do with the computer.

No alarm that I know of. I will try the dealer and see if they can help.
