Default 2000 lmtd. rear passenger windows

Hey everyone I recently purchased a 2000 Tahoe limited and I gotta say I really love it. The only thing I dont like is that the rear windows wont go down all the way. They only go down about 25-30%, like it has some kind of safety lock. Does anyone know a way I could get them down completely?

they don't go down becasue of the wheel well cut out on the door. None of the rear windows on any Tahoe's that I am aware of go down all the way. Its not a safety its a physical limitation.

Please take just a moment and look at the rear door......................................keep looking.................................comparing the size and shape of the window to that of the door beneath it..................................pay particular attention to the rear tire relief cut-out in the door.............now do you get it?

There just simply is not enough room for the glass to go down any further.

LOL ZX I like your response sooooo much better then mine, here I was being all technical and yours puts it so.... DUH! I have to admit that when I got my first Tahoe I was a little disapointed with the halfway windows too but I never have to sit in the back.

I'm waiting for this question "Well, can't they make the window curved at the bottom like the bottom part of the door?"
