2000 Suburban 1500 LT tuneup costs?
My 2000 LT has 95k and will soon need a tune-up. Dealer says plugs, new wires, and ejector flush will cost about $500. What should the price be with a good private mechanic? I live in the DFW area if anyone has any suggestions of who is good.

What is an "ejector flush"? For plugs and wires I would estimate $100 parts and no more than an hour of labor. So call it $200. Whether or not the flush is worth $300 is the question.

Are you experiencing any problems with it now? Any missing or hesitating? If not then your injectors don't need cleaning now. I always put a can of injector cleaner in the gas every month or so and have never had any problems with them. Do the plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc.
