Default 2001 Suburban quitting

Several days ago my suburban would start and die as soon as i let off the gas. I moved it to the back where I could work on it. A few hours later I went out and cranked it and it worked fine. Now after driving it several times over a few days, I went to crank it today and the same thing as soon as I let off the gas it quits. It sounds as if it is choking then it quits.
Help

I would check the fuel filter. if thats good then I'd put a guage on it and make sure your getting the required pressure (fuel pressure)

In January I put in a new fuel filter fuel pump and fuel regulator or what ever it is. Again after a few minutes of sitting it cranked and is running ok.

might still be worth checking incase you got a defective part...

I replaced the ignition module on my 90 pickup and swore up and down a few months later that wasn't the problem I was having at the time... after needlessly replacing a coil and chasing wiring down, I had the module tested and replaced under warranty...

I just wouldn't rule any of what you've replaced out... how much fuel did it have when it was doing this?
