2001 Tahoe issues
Hello, I apologize for this but its going to be a long thread. 01 Tahoe has 215,000 miles and has been a great vehicle but has been having issues for awhile. Started with when stepping on the brakes, it seems like you have to push the pedal to the floor. At times it seems like the ABS kicks in. When all of that is going on the lights on the dash will flash along with the brake and blinkers. After awhile it seems like the battery was getting drained. When taken in, the shop was able to tell me there was a big draw but not sure where. There is a after market starter and that has been checked and that's not it. Pulled all fuses one by one and still unable to find draw. A kill switch was put in to save new battery and now the vehicle has the same flashing lights and will not stay running. Starts right up but will not stay running unless you keep your foot on the gas. Any ideas? Some say security system, need to replace the negative ground, or ABS system. Please help. Thanks for reading and for your help.
