2002 Chevy Testicle (Tahoe Z Flex 5.3L )tranny fluid blowout

2002 Chevy ******** (Tahoe Z Flex 5.3L 4WD )tranny fluid blowout
So, pulled out of the driveway yesterday and my husband's 2002 Z flex Chevy Tahoe, which I lovingly refer to as the Chevy ********), blew transmission fluid all over the road... I made tire marks through it with the passenger tires .. anyway, after the transmission quit and I came to a dead stop I discovered a small puddle of tranny fluid underneath the front end, closest to the driver side.
Now, it doesn't go into any gear;f or reverse. I've looked and looked and looked and I simply cannot find where it leaked out from. Yes, dipstick shows NOTHING in the way of tranny fluid.
I did, however, have ac compressor belt snap bc a/c compressor clutch spun out and off it's axle about 2 weeks ago (for lack of a better term)....I didn't do a thing bc as far as I could tell, no ac compressor doesn't affect anything except air conditioning....I hope? I replaced serpentine belt back in July, seems everything was running fine until 2 weeks ago.
I've zero idea where to start, although I did just download the factory service manual.
Would appreciate any help-my car is in the shop until the 7th and husband's Chevy ******** is all we've got to drive right now. I'm a RN on call 4 days a week...not showing up would not be good.....
Husband isn't very tech savvy....ok, technically he's actually a danger to himself (and others) when it comes to 'fixing' things and I actually hear the music score, 'Entrance of the Gladiators' playing in my head.. followed immediately by The 'Jaws' theme, everytime I see him pick up a tool. I have to strategically feed him info so HE thinks he fixed it....

there should be transmission fluid cooler lines going to the front of the vehicle to the cooler in the radiator. One of those connections may have blown out. Or maybe when the belt blew, it nicked something or knocked something loose. Just take a good careful look at the cooler lines you can't miss 'em. They're the only hoses coming from the tranny.
