What was the condition of the old fluid? How did it smell? Burnt?

If you have never changed fluid don't do it. To change fluid it must be done at scheduled intervals. if you wait a 100,000 miles it is to late to change the fluid. The fluid that is in the their prior to changing has metal grindings and you transmission has gotten use to running with that kind of fluid. Trust I found out the wrong way. If you did a rebuild take it back and have them fix it. If you just had a fluid change or (hope not) a transmission flush, look for a new transmission.
