Default 2002 Suburban LS wont start!

well my 2002 suburban has started off by kinda jerking and dieing at low speeds. it was always at random, could happen every couple blocks or you could go 50 - 100 miles and it never happened. it did not throw any codes at all. had the charging system checked and it was good. from reviews i read online it was most likely the crankshaft position sensor. apparently there bad about going out in these suburbans and will not always throw a check engine light. went to the parts store and bought one. having trouble getting the starter out. botls came out fine. can wiggle starter around but it wont come all the way out. going to keep working on that, but on another note the subruban just wont start today. we ran it yesterday. it cranks but wont turn over. hoping its still the crankshaft postion sensor causing this error also but not sure. it has gas and you can here the fuel pump engage. so i really dont think its that. Any one else have any idea?

Do a fuel pressure check. You can also spray starter fluid down the throttle body and if it starts for a few seconds then it is a faulty fuel pump.

The consensus of opinion on this forum is to stick with the OEM fuel pump.

AC Delco or Delphi. Both are good.
