I replaced the fuel pressure regulator on my 2003 Tahoe a couple weeks ago (bought from GM). It seems like it helped the erratic idle some but did not completely fix the problem. The other day I smelled gas upon start up. I looked under the hood and gas was dripping out between the regulator and the mating surface, then stopped. Do you think that the O-rings are not in the correct location? I put a small amout of oil on them before I installed the new regulator. It does not do this all the time. Any help would be appreciated.
