Default 2003 Speedo Sticks

Hello, HHHEEELLLPPPP ANYONE
This is new to me so please be patient.
My 2003 Tahoe speedometer is stuck on 120mph. I have tried to disconnect the battery, so it would re-set. This worked for two days, now it's forever stuck. I've heard there is a recall pending a lawsuit. However our 70,000 miles are up and I need to foind out how difficult it is to replace myself. Also the A/C gets hot from time to time. Do I need to replace actuators?

Thank You,
Robert

it took me about 30 minutes to replace all the stepper motors.

you need a soldering iron, a de-soldering iron, and the upgraded motors from ebay... about $50 if you have nothing.

best write up I've seen is on z71.
