Default OEM remote start for 2004 tahoe?

Was there remote start available in 04? If so... can someone tell me the part#s or kit I need to order to add it to my z71?

If there was no OEM remote start in 04... can someone recommend an aftermarket kit? Anyone have a walkthrough of an install?

Thanks

sure, go to your local car audio place, and get a viper remote start with the DLPKGM module.

I have the Viper 5902 intalled on the wife 2005 tahoe and its pretty sweet. the remote is up to 1 mile range, and for an extra 45$ you can get the two front window to roll up when arm and down on a hot day to vent the vehicle. the remote start is awsome, i tested out over 1000 already and no problem.
