2004 Suburban: Zero Power and Loud Noise During Acceleration Power HELP!!
Hello!
This is my first post on here and unfortunately it's regarding mechanical issue.
I'll start with a short back-story in hopes of providing more context to my issue. I bought my 2004 Suburban LT (2WD) about 7 months ago with about 156k miles on it and since then I've had to replace the transmission, fuel pump, rear wheel bearings, brakes and tires. Besides the 4 inch suspension lift, the only "modifications" done to it is the straight-pipe exhaust running from the cats to a little past the middle of the truck. The engine itself has always seemed to run fine and it pretty much only gets driven on the weekends, locally so it's not like l'm hauling stuff or beating the hell out of it.
I put a couple videos that my wife sent me on YouTube s that shows what's going on (I'm still at work). If it were just a loss of power I'd assume it was the throttle or cam position sensor, but the Check Engine light is on and the noise it's making sounds like it's either the engine or trans. Any help would be appreciated.

I am guessing from your description the engine revs up but the Sub doesn't move at all (like it was in neutral), is that correct?
Since the engine is running and you can rev it up, there isn't much that could be at fault on the engine (rare possibility- bolts holding on flywheel sheared off).
Probably in the transmission, maybe torque converter. Possibly bolts holding torque converter to flywheel came off or broke? Does it move in any gear (R, D, 2, 1)?
