Default 2004 Tahoe Service Tire Monitor warning pops up, but no dummy light

The Service Tire Monitor warning is displayed, but the TPMS dummy light never comes on. I ordered new valve stems, replaced all four and did the manual relearn for them. It all checked off. This stupid message still shows up. Any ideas?

there may be a code but a cheap code reader can't access it. tpm codes are set in C or chassis systems. Have someone with a full function scan tool check for dtc.

Wrong.

For example, here's a 2015 SS manual
