Default 2005 Tahoe with AC & Blower issues

Earlier this year, my AC would convert to heat driving down the road. I could correct it by turning off the engine then restarting, but it still happens occasionally. The new problem happened this weekend, and I am truly baffled. My blower motor will not shut off at all. No power, no keys in the ignition, nothing and it is still blowing inside the car like it's on full speed. Not only can I not turn it off, it will not allow for blower speed adjustment and just blows full force...quite aggravating!

So I found the fuse in the engine compartment and it shuts off when disconnected, but that leaves me with no blower at all, therefore no AC and no heat.

Anyone ever experience such weird happenings with their AC like this? If so, is it the blower motor, blower select sensor or something else? I would really like to have my hubby fix without taking it to the dealership.

Thanks!

Few months back I received a letter saying something about a problem with the A/C electrical terminals and wiring connector that powers the module. Chevy offer to repair this condition but only for the 2004 Tahoe within 10 yrs or 150,000 miles of the purchase. I've been hesitating 'cus if my vehicle doesn't have this problem, I'm gonna have to pay for the repairs(and diagnosis too). Now that I read your comment, I think Im gonna take it before my warranty expires!
