Default Blower speed 1 & 2 dead ?

2001 suburban has the Blower fan speeds 1 & 2 not working. Is this an easy switch fix or is it a whole circuit board deal that needs to be replaced?

More than likely you need to replave the blower resistor. 98% of the time when speeds fail that is the fix.

thanks man! I actually been hearing that quite a bit since this post.

Anyone have a procedure or an informative link on "resistor pack" replacing?

Is this a common corner auto store part?

Under the passenger side of the dash, near the blower motor
Remove the 2 screws and pull the resistor out...
