Default 2006 seats in a 2000 model????

Hey all, new to this forum and have a question. I have a 2000 Suburban (new body style). I have an opportunity to get the front seats out of a 2006 model that look identical to mine, but the leather looks brand new. All the features between the two trucks are the same (heated seats, memory seats, etc...) but it looks like the electrical plugs that connect the seat to the wiring harness are a little different. Anybody done this before and how did you hook the new seats into the older wiring harness. I am not too keen on starting to cut and splice wires unless I know that it will work.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Best bet is to get wiring diagrams for both years to enable you to match your wires to the proper connection on the 2006 seats. Try ebay.
