were you able to get the set of HID's exchanged??? Man I feel bad for you. Im surprised that there was no apology/comments/remorse from mr. viperjuice, the veteran who sent you down the wrong path to begin with......
hope things turned out okay though.... I'd like to see pics when you are done with the HID mods..
BTW, my buddies Tahoe looks great with the Xenondepot 6000k kit that we put in. Its not too blue at all, and it looks perfect on his Tahoe!

I got the wrong HID kit in and sent it back already, but I am still waiting for the new kit to arrive. I have been working on some other things while waiting though. I added the white hood deflector and white window vent shades. I have the new chrome bowties for the front and back that will go on this weekend anlogn with a K&N filter. I have been struggling back and forth with which ride to work on...I just bought a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC and have started adding to it as well. Who gets the attention my wifes LTZ or my Cobalt? Hmmm....

damn i need to take pics, you get 2 bulbs and 2 box time modules , they're small. You can either double side tape the module to the inside of the fender or you cna screw it in. the bulbs, well you need to remove the air filter box, you just pull on the entire air box assembly and it pops out.. and there are black skirts behind the headlamp that you remove a clip from on each side and you can pull them back to get to the bulbs.. bit tight but it's the easiest.. and that about it.. the harness from back of the factory bulb plugs into the new module, and the module harness plugs into the new bulb.. simple as can be dude. and they rock.. i mean I LOVE HID's. i've been using them for 4 years now, my 2000 tahoe z71, 05 silverado 3500 dually, 05 avalanche z71, and now on my 07 tahoe.. LOVE them.. I'll try to take some pics of where the box is.

Hey all...New to the forum here, but am a regular poster over at the Edmunds.com forums. They have some good threads over there in regards to the new '07 Tahoes.
Nevertheless...I have also done this HID conversion using the 6000K bulbs. They look AWESOME. Thought I'd try and post some pics since you were asking for some. Hope they work:
Here's a pic from the front of the truck about 10 feet away:

Here's a shot of them shining on my garage door. Truck was about 15 feet from the door. The doors are painted a tan color...But the 2 posts on the side of the door are white. I think this pic better shows the blueness that these lights give off:

Lastly...Here's just a pic at dusk from the front:

Sorry...I couldn't figure out how to get the pics to show here...But click on the links and you'll see the pics.

Hey Collins...Good to see a familiar face, uh...I mean name over here!!!
I did check out some of the other threads and see that this is a nice board to be part of too!!!
So I see you're still trying to decide on the HID's...I'm telling you, if "I" could do the install...I know for a fact that you can too. I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to anything mechanical!!! [&:] I'm a finance guy and can talk "numbers" all day long!!!
So far I think this is one of the best looking and definitely the most useful mod that you can do to your Tahoe.
Give it a shot!!!!

OK I got the new HID Kit, and I am having some trouble. Has anyone installed the GP Thunder 10000K kit yet? The wiring is confusing and the manual is not clear on how to hook it up.
Thanks
Thanks
