Default 2007 Suburban LTZ, white exhaust smoke and low oil

2007 Suburban LTZ 4x4 has 135K showing low oil light and white smoke from exhaust during startup. White smoke goes away after several minutes and no engine lights or display messages appear. White exhaust smoke has been occurring for a week now. Low oil message goes away after I add quart or two between oil changes. Any experience of advice appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Check your coolant level as white smoke is usually a sign of coolant getting in the combustion process.

I noticed the coolant level was a little low, added some more to bring it back to min. line. I will continue to watch. Any immediate concerns (ie. stop driving) if coolant is entering the combustion process?
