I recently purchased a 2007 Tahoe LTZ, the problem Im having is when playing music it sounds like the rear door speakers are blown. It doesnt pop when there is bass, but more just sounds distorted when someone is singing, and only thru those rear door speakers, all the other speakers sound great. I took it to a custom audio place near me (San Clemente Ca) and he suspects the amp has a bad channel. Has anyone experienced this? Are the Amps compatible from 2007-2012? Ive found a few on Ebay that are reasonable priced, Id rather not shoot from the hip and just hope it works before I buy though. Thanks for the help.

One difference might be whether you have the Bose system or not.

 

I do have the Bose system with Navi-

 

mine does the same thing.. did you find the problem
