I have looked in a lot of places and have not been able to find any instructions or how-to videos on removing the center console on a 2008 Tahoe LT and replacing the factory amplifier. I somehow blew the front two channels and looking to buy an OEM amplifier to replace it. I don't want to tear up my car trying to figure it out on my own and trying to stay away from removing the seats if I have to. Any help is appreciated.

To access the amp you need to remove the front seats. The inboard seat bolts hold the console cover in place... I know because I had a grand plan to replace my 09 LT center console with the center jump seat from an LS. 1st off no legroom for middle seat and 2nd the amplifier/audio system wiring all comes to the center console... It can be done methodically... but to access the amplifier's bolts, you basically have to take the front row out... YMMV... Cheers.
