Were you able to find the mega fuse at your local auto parts store?
About how much did it cost?
Hello,
I just experience the same problem after I crossed the jumper cables. I just saw your note. Tomorrow I'm going to purchase the 125 Amp Mega Fuse Universal. I found it at NAPA auto parts for $6.99

YHANK YOU VERY MUCH for your suggestion and diagram. Best regards,

Victor A

Did you ever find out the answer? Same problem....been 6 months of driving my Tahoe like **** last couple month, fixing the wrong stupid "ah ha" answer and still experiencing the same problem plus one more new problem!

Any response would be great. I really want my truck back.

Default TAHOE / Battery fuse

YES, the fuse in the battery will fix it. It only cost about $7.00 at any auto parts place. You will have your problem fixed.
