Post 2007 Tahoe instrument lights quit working.

The lights for drive, reverse, and park and other gears in my 07 Tahoe quit working. It works sometimes then quits again. I checked the dimmer fuse and it's fine. I'm sure it's not a light bulb because it works part of the time. Is there anyone who may know what could be wrong with it? Would appreciate the info. Thanks.

yeah i have the exact same problem. the odometer area (driver information center) computer is out, and the PRND321 backlight is out. it's a bad connection in the wiring of the cluster itself.

you need to replace the entire cluster unfortunately. Or you can get it repaired, which would end up costing roughly the same. If it's under warranty, take it to dealer.. if you are out of warranty, it's about $850 to replace.

OR you can buy one online at auction (ebay or amazon) and pay anywhere from $50-$250 for the cluster and then swap them out yourself, which is what i am in the process of doing right now. Track that link and see if we get any responses on how it's done.

Good luck!
