2007 tahoe ltz dash has cracked????????
Believe it or not the Dodge Ram has a similar issue, my coworker has a cracked dash on his Ram truck and put on a dash cover he really is pleased with. Don't recall the brand but he paid about $40.
I would like everyone out there to know that I brought my 2007 Suburban LTZ into the Chevy dealer in Delray Beach FL on Friday and they repalced my cracked dash. It took them only half of a day to do it and they did a great job. My cost was $400 plus tax. Beleive me, it is well worth investment. Not only for the way it looks but also to keep the up the value of the truck. My Suburban looks, runs and rides like brand new. Just ready to turn 80K miles. It has 4WD and I use it to tow my boat. Replacement value on a 2013, for the exact same truck would be well over $60K. This one is a keeper. These are great trucks. My advice to everyone out there with these cracked dash issues is to go right to your local Chevy dealer. There is also a gentleman named Louis from Chevy on this website who has offered his help. Good Luck!

My dash was replaced December 2011 with me footing the deductible of $100. I got in the Tahoe last Friday to have the body side moldings replaced (again) and noticed that the second part of the dash is now cracked. This is the part closest to the windshield and it is called a filler. My dealer says it wasn't part of the replacement from last year and that they can fix it for around $350. I call BS as there are obviously flaws in the design of this dash. My dash got replaced at 90K and now I'm at 105K with a cracked filler piece. GM has to do something or else I'm going to trade it and get a different make.
Louis, you helped me last year.....so I hope you can help me again with the "new" issue!!
