2007 Tahoe LTZ won't start
UPDATE: My wife said last night the car wouldn't start, she turned the key and no cranking from the engine, but the normal dash lights were on. She took the key out and tried starting it again and it fired right up. I hope this was just a fluke, I don't think it is, but I can hope! lol! Its about been about 7k miles since I did the replacement a few months ago. I'll keep this update. I think I'll order the starter relay like in2pro suggested, but never got around to ordering.
I have had this happen in the past but very infrequently on my 07 we are talking less than a handful in 8 years, and honestly I think it might be from putting key in and turning the ignition too fast or faster than the VAT or BCM can read the key as it's always started the second time and don't remove the key but simple turn it back and then crank again, giving the system time to wake up and read the key...

Just had the same thing occur with my Tahoe. I replaced the starter and still the same single "click". Checked the relay and it is functioning properly. I'm out of options of what else it could be.
Welcome to the forum,
Check the battery cable to the starter thoroughly for any corrosion or poor connection, look for swelling in any of the wire jacket... if you aren't getting enough current to the starter it won't start, also consider checking the battery out...The 07's are terribly sensitive to even the slightest of low voltage on the battery.
