Default 2008 Tahoe Steering Wheel Lights

I have 2 buttons on the right side of my steering wheel that do not burn. They are little rearward of others and are the "+" and "-" buttons that control radio volume.

These do not light up and my dealer says they are not supposed to be lit. Does anyone know if this is true? I have warranty if they should be lit.

I am pretty sure that the dealer is correct. I have a 2007 Tahoe LT and those same buttons do not light up at all. It can be a little annoying at night, but I think that is probably why they are further recessed on the wheel compared to the other buttons (so you can feel them when it is dark).

I hope that helps!
