Anyway, its not covered under warranty but the dealer is covering the cost for me. So all in all, I'll have a smooth newly painted bumper for free, not a bad deal, except for being without the Tahoe for 3-4 days!
That is good news, glad your dealer is working for total customer satisfaction, try to return the favor by bringing them some of your maintenance service needs, an oil change and tire rotation...etc....

Nice to see a dealer back you up. I'd throw them a bone or two.

I'm in your neighborhood, north DFW area. I actually bought from Sewell in Plano (used to be the Hummer dealer on the Tollway and Park in Plano), that now sells mostly 08-11 pre-owned Yukons/Escalades/Tahoes/Range Rover. Since its pre-owned only now since they've opened the Saab and Mini dealerships next door, I'm not sure if they do much service on their SUVs there but I will definitely ask. If you're looking for help there ask for Bud in internet sales.

that is a great group of dealerships. I have been very happy with the service at the Chevy dealership in McKinney so that is another service choice you could check out

Good to hear that there's still some good ones out there.

Always be careful w/ a power washer, especially the commercial ones. Try to spray perpendicular to the surface, less likely to lift the paint.
