2009 Rear AC controls too dim

Default 2009 Rear AC controls too dim

As the title says... the rear ac control screen is too dim, before i go to the dealer and pay tons to fix it I wanted to know if there's anything I could do to fix it, The dimmer switch doesn't change anything! Ideas ??

Nope, I had a previous tahoe and it wasn't like this, I purchased the car 6 days ago and it needs minor fixing... Dealer told me that they'll replace the thing but it'll cost me about a hundred bucks so I came here asking for advice
