Default 2014 Tahoe - Replaced object alarm module (Rear Park Assist) - now error

Hi everybody - I did a couple searches to make sure this hasn't been brought up here and many, many searches on Google without any luck..
I have a 2014 Tahoe LS 4x4 that has had a slow battery drain that I've been unable to identify going on 3 years now and FINALLY figured out the guilty circuit using the
voltage drop test for the first time - turns out it was the OBS DET fuse. Rear parking assist was working with occasional fault and I removed the fuse overnight to verify battery drain was stopped and it did stop.

Today I replaced the object alarm module under the front passenger seat, replaced the 10amp fuse for the circuit, and verified the key out voltage drop was good (dropped to 0 volts a moment after connecting multimeter) on the circuit.

Now the problem - the DIC now shows "Service Park Assist" even after pulling the negative cable for 30 minutes. Does this module need to be programmed or do I have more hardware that has gone bad?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and in advance for any assistance.

-Pete

Shop manual for my '11 says module needs to be programmed after replacement. Dealer has to do that. I would assume it needs to be linked to the BCM.

Good deal, ty very much! Time to give them a ring!

Update: I've just scheduled the programming with my dealer and the expected cost is $150 for anyone who happens across this thread in the future.
