Just went out and checked the settings and could not find any way to access the A/C settings for Remote Start in the menus. Looks like it simply uses whatever the A/C was set to when you last left the vehicle.

I find that hard to believe. If my 2008 Suburban uses the temperature sensor to override the climate control settings when using the remote start, I doubt the newer trucks have regressed. Go ask at a dealer.

That has nothing to do with a preset remote start A/C position to be found in the vehicle settings. There isn't one. The only thing I have found is the ability to turn off/on the heated seats upon remote start and that is dependent upon the reading from the outside temperature sensor being below a certain temp.
