Default 2021 Tahoe Lost Chimes

Hello,
I installed an after market amp inline to new door speakers of a 2021 Tahoe. The way I did it was spliced in after the factory amp in the speaker wiring harness and then ran from the factory amp into the high level inputs on the new amp. Then I ran from the aftermarket amp back into the factory speaker harness to the new door speakers. Currently the chimes signal is not making it into the new amp after the amp turns on. On a fresh start up the chimes all work until the radio finished booting up. I feel like I have not lost my can bus signals because the speakers shouldn't have other amps in the circuit. I have contacted tech support where I bought the amp and they believe it should be working properly how I have it. I have also eliminated the amp on the left front channel and wired a speaker directly to the factory amp with no success. I am also going to shove the factory software back into the head unit and amp today. Does anyone have any ideas?
TIA!

does the OEM entertainment unit not have OEM software in it? If not , that would be why.

I ended up not putting the factory software back in it. The vehicle has the factory software in it already I just thought it might be corrupt somehow. I did resolve this issue though. Ended up being the radio amplifier had to see a load on both the LF and RF speaker outputs in order to receive the chime signal from the BCM. GM really botched this one up! They should have just made it send the signal no matter what and then let the radio system output it by whatever means necessary.

Thanks!

its to protect the system from overload. Its not designed to be hooked up to an amp

I would agree with them using this as protection for shorts but for infinite resistance I think is overkill.

amp inputs are low impedance. It looks like a short to the head unit.
