22's or 24's, GOT EM? PLEASE READ!
I am having this problem on my 07 that has a 4" lift, 18 inch wheels and 33" tires. I have a stabilitrak and braking issue when turning. Its annoying as hell as im sure you all know. Dealer told me only fix is to turn off stabilitrak on dash each and every time you get in the car. There has to be another or soon to be another way to fix this??
his 24s are not 1/8" of is original 20s ...they are quite a bit bigger. Landon, I know superchips etc talk about 24 inch programming..but what does it actually mean? if its just speedo, its pointless.. personally i have never noticed an issue with stabilitrack, but the loss of DOD/AFM is what has always bothered me.

To elaborate on what Dave said re: tire/wheel. If the OD of your 24" tire wheel package is within 1/8" of original, then there's no need to recal speedo as it basically sees no difference.

btw, 22s with street tires are the same size as the stock 20s with the all seasons (thicker tires)

I just got my 24" wheels. I had previously talked to the dealer about updating my computer and runing Tech II. However today, I talked to the manager and he said that there isnt a GM VCI for anything larger than 20" wheels.
So, if you have 24's did your dealer do any programing to the vehicle? If so what did they do?

vyslouzil,
What air pressure are you running in your 24's???
Superchips will calibrate the speedometer, odometer, change the shift points, firm up shifts, and some other stuff. I had it on a hemi truck and i was actually amazed. I know Dave has said they just change things along the RPM band, but it sure felt better.
If you are missing that seat of the pants feeling I would get the superchips. I will probably get one after christmas is over and I have some more money to blow.
However, mine with the 24's doesnt seem to be any doggier! My tire size however is about 1.5% larger than the factory 20's overall circumfrance. Probably not a huge deal, but it is off more than I like it. At 60MPH I am actually going 59MPH, i ran a tire calculator online and it tells you where you are at.
