I was looking into trying to find a 2023 or 2024 Suburban or Tahoe with max tow and a limited set of features to maximize the payload. Need to get a bigger car for family and want one that makes towing as easy as possible. I have no concerns on the tow rating, just a little more concerned about what payloads are actually possible to achieve from the factory. Saw the Tahoe was at ~1,900# and Suburban at ~1,800#. Is it possible to actually get close to these numbers when you add the max tow package or will that eat into those high quoted numbers? There will be some weight lost adding a WDH. Just trying to get an idea of what capacity you can expect straight from the factory. Not getting any good answers from dealers or Chevy themselves.
