Default 3 months pay

It would take a Somali 4 months to make enough money to gas up my Suburban.
Of course this assumes he earns the avg. wage in Somalia, immigrates to the U.S. and buys his gas in San Diego where I paid $115 to fill my tank!

oil prices are down quite a bit this week. lets see how fast the gas companies LOWER the gas prices compared to how fast they raise it for NO REAL REASON
Oil prices tumble 7% - May. 5, 2011

you know that ain't gonna happen...

Gas here just jumped .20 in less than a week. but luckily enough we're still lower than the average...

I keep the suburban full mostly, last time I topped off I had a bit more than 1/2 a tank and it still ran me 55bux... I luck out and get to bring my work truck home most of the time so I save fuel that way, and as soon as I get a couple of tires for the truck I'll use it to run the 9 miles to work and back when I can't bring the big truck home. hell the 5.7 in the pickup gets about a mpg better than the 5.3 in the suburban...

I'm hoping I hit the lottery this summer. I've got 2 motorhomes in the back yard both with thirsty 454's that are just begging to get ran out to the lake... one has a 40 the other has a 100 gallon tank. lets see 3.75x140 525.00 to fill them both. ouch. but then again, I go thru 4-800 bux of diesel every other day.

ugh.

Thats why I listen to my father-in-law and never go below 1/2 tank. It hurts less. As it is, I will up from half about once a week. Thats almost all to and from work, with a little other driving.

It's OK to hate Big Oil, but as the data here shows, gas is a better deal now vs. oil.

Default yea

Boating is the only thing in this world I enjoy... my jet ski's are 15 gallons each, and my boat is 70 gallons... of which I can easily burn at my 1.1 MPG or 60 gallons per hour at WOT...

the skis are 15 GPH at WOT.

my dad's boat has a 300 gallon tank, and uses twin 525 engines... it also gets about 1 MPG.

so, lunch in the boat usually runs us about 100+ gallons. ohh yea, and food.
