3 questions: Navigation issues and real-time Fuel economy
I'm sure the aswer is "no", but, there is a easy way to access this place where the antenna is connected, beside the vav system i guess or on the roof? Or is it the little ball on the dash?
A DIY procedure will be appreciate!
The all knowing orb on the dash also provides input to the HVAC system if you have the digital system....
Its possible the antenna has come un plugged or if the vehicle is new to you but had a previous owner , they may have changed out the radio or figited with the cabling...
I'd suggest pulling the radio and checking the connections
Global Positioning System (GPS) Antenna
The GPS antenna is located in the upper center of the I/P. The GPS antenna is powered through the same coaxial cable used to send the signals to the NAV radio. Interference to the system may occur if any of the following exist:
• Signals are obstructed by objects such as, tall buildings or trees.
• Metallic objects located on the dashboard
• Aftermarket glass tinting has been applied to the vehicles windshield.
