Default 3RD ROW

For the first time today i took out my 3rd row seats to vacuum and noticed a puddle of oil under the seat where it clamps in.. I never put anything back there so nothing could have leaked.. Is it lube oil for seat?? Just curious!!

Sounds like somebody spilled something. Bring home some oil recently that may have tipped over during transport?

Nah. I think it's the reservoir for the dry sump.

I noticed a little white grease in the clamps that attach the seat to the floor, but not oil. Definately not normal.

Are you sure it is oil. My friends Escalade had a leak in the pass backsideglass area. The water ran behind the molding, under the carpet into the housing for the 3rd row seats. It looked like yellowish brown water, but was not thick like oil. Is your thick? Obviouslyhis was fixed under warrenty.
