Default 6" Lift?

I'm a prospective Suburban buyer. Unfortunately my job has taken me overseas for a few years, so it won't be anytime soon.

In any case, I'm planning on buying one in the future. It looks great with a 6" lift, just wondering if that would void the warranty? Also, any reliability issues with lifting a vehicle?

1. Yes

2. Probably in the area of the U-joints.

Thanks. Guess I'll have to take that into consideration. Anyone know anyone with a lifted vehicle? Do they have to replace the U-joints regularly?
