I have a 88 suburban that has been sitting a few years. I am fixing it up , seemsits not getting any gas to thetbi (I unhooked the line at the throttle body to see). I can hear the pump in the tank but no fuel comes through. Can it be the pump has gone bad from sitting?

 

I think fuel pump strainer got clogged,that why no flow.or connector of fuelpump has high resistance.
